Albert Lu is a senior at Phillips Exeter Academy. He loves music, computer science, and math.
Beyond creating music and solving problems, he shares his passion through teaching in a free summer program.
Albert started the study of music composition when he was ten, under the tutelage of Yiming Wu.

Albert Lu started his musical training at the age of four, studying the piano under Dr. Jiayue Yang. He won first place in Maryland state competition and Grand Prix in Music-Fest Rising Talents Festival, and performed at Carnegie Hall, NYC. He studied the cello with Mr. Ken Ding from age nine and played in the Maryland Classic Youth Orchestras of Strathmore. Now at PEA, he studies the cello with Dr. Hyun-ji Kwon and plays for the Symphony Orchestra.
